This 230SL has undergone a Nuts & Bolts restoration. The bodywork was provided with new and original sheet metal and a new coat of paint by a specialist. The interior was also completely renewed and is equipped with fresh leather and a new soft top. The engine was completely overhauled and is equipped with new pistons, bearings, gaskets, valves, valve guides, seats, … In addition, the gearbox was also thoroughly renewed.
Also all rubbers, pipes, gaskets etc … were replaced. The car also got a new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel feed pump and mechanical injection pump. The rear axle and front axle were also completely renewed. The chrome work was renewed or replaced. The radiator was also renewed and the cooling circuit was equipped with a new water pump, viscous coupling, thermostat, … In other words, this car is in the same condition as in 1966 when it rolled out of the factory.
