This Ferrari 250 GT is one of the 353 Pinin Farina coupes built during two years of production. The car was distributed new to Ferrari Representatives in Hollywood. It was acquired in a disassembled state in 1998 when was initiated a restoration as a personal project. Work completed included a repaint in the original shade of Grigio Conchiglia, refinishing the frame, re-chroming or replacing the brightwork, fitting new Borrani wire wheels, and installing a wiring harness. The car was acquired by the selling dealer from Mosier earlier this year in a partially completed state. It is equipped with a non-running 3.0-liter Tipo 128F V12 sourced from a 250 GTE, as well as triple Weber 40 carburetors, Dunlop disc brakes, and its original rear end. A disassembled four-speed gearbox is also included in the sale along with two unrestored 250 GTE seats, two bare seat frames, an exhaust system, a radiator curtain, and a collection of additional parts.
